Rossmoor Pet Hospital is a family-owned veterinary practice located at 1910 Tice Valley Blvd in Walnut Creek, California. We serve dogs and cats across the East Bay including Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Alamo, Pleasant Hill, and Danville, providing wellness care, dental care, surgery, urgent care, diagnostics, and end-of-life support. The hospital is licensed by the California Veterinary Medical Board.

Our team is led by Dr. Bikram Sohi, a veterinarian practicing since 2002, and is supported by visiting board-certified specialists in surgery and internal medicine. We focus on welcoming, low-stress care with transparent pricing and a comprehensive scope under one roof, from preventive wellness and dental work to same-day urgent visits and advanced diagnostics including endoscopy. Dr. Bikram Sohi, DVM

Practising veterinary medicine since 2002, with experience across India, Australia, Indiana, and the Bay Area. Founded Daly City Pet Hospital in 2019 and opened Rossmoor Pet Hospital in 2026, focused on long-term client relationships and low-stress care. Interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, ultrasonography, and echocardiography.

Dr. Jimmy Holtschlag, DVM

Earned his DVM from the University of Illinois in 2019 and practised six years in Monterey County before joining the Rossmoor team. Has an interest in preventive care, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and quality-of-life management.

Dr. Hani Korani, BVSc, DACVS (SA)

A Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (Small Animal). He completed his BVSc at Cairo University, an internship at Tuskegee University, and a three-year surgical residency at North Carolina State University. He operates H&M VetSurg and visits Rossmoor for orthopedic, soft tissue, neurological, and oncological surgical cases.

Dr. Amy Allen, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

A Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Small Animal Internal Medicine specialty. She holds a BS from Stanford and a DVM from UC Davis, completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, and has practised mobile internal medicine and endoscopy across the Bay Area for over 20 years. Has a special interest in endoscopy.

We are open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 7 PM. We are closed on Sundays.

Do you serve pet owners from Lafayette and Orinda?

Yes. We welcome dog and cat families from Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Alamo, Pleasant Hill, and Danville. Our hospital is on Tice Valley Blvd with quick access from I-680 and Highway 24, and on-site parking is available near the entrance.

Are you accepting new clients?

I have a purebred, Himalayan cat who is a legitimate ESA, and I literally credit this place for saving her life. Monday in the middle of the freaking night: I noticed that my cat had swelling on her face and rushed her to my local urgent vet. I learned she had an abscess and needed a tooth removed ASAP. Tuesday morning: I called my routine vet, and 6 other clinics who all told me that they could not do the surgery for three or more weeks let alone do a consultation and surgery within the timeframe that was literally needed to save her life. Rossmoor vet was able to book me for same day that evening, accommodating my work schedule. Wednesday: dropped her off for surgery at 8 am, picked her up at 6:30 pm. I am so grateful for this practice and they were so kind, considerate, and helpful while I dealt with one of the scariest things I have ever experienced in my life. I would literally recommend this place 1000% and so would my cat because she is often very aggressive when I am not there, however I was told she was very nice to everyone during her time here <3
